到校时间:早上8点00分
放学时间:下午3点30分
平日吃饭及午休时间为1小时,周四活动日吃饭及午休时间为50分钟。
School time:8:00 am
End of the day:3:30 pm
The meal and lunch break time is 1 hour on weekdays, and 50 minutes on Thursday activity day.
2、请问学校是否有社团活动?
Are there any ECAs in the school?
目前我们有Topaz, Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire共4个团队,全校师生将携手与它们共成长,同进步,我们希望,学生们的领导力、演说力、服务力、协作力等均能在社团活动中得以体现和展示。
Currently, there are four houses in the school, which are Topaz, Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire. All SOISers will grow up and make progress together with them. We hope that our students' leadership, speech skills, service awareness and cooperation can be demonstrated in these activities.
3、请问是否可以在学校用餐?学校的饭菜如何?
Is it possible to have meals at school and is the food good?
学校提供午餐,学生可以根据需要选择在学校用餐或自行带饭,受疫情影响,为安全起见,学校实行“午餐禁送”管理,暂不支持学生点外卖。

SOIS provides lunch. To strengthen the control of the epidemic, the school implements the "no lunch delivery" policy. Students may order school lunches or bring lunch from home.

4、孩子应当具备怎样的特质,才能更好、更快地适应绿洲学校初中部的生活呢?
What qualities should children have to better and faster adapt to the school life in SOIS?
我们希望绿洲学校初中部的孩子同时富有学术能力、社交能力和独立处理问题的能力。希望孩子能有较强的团队协作能力、分享精神,学会尊重规则,尊重他人及不同的观点,诚实守信,能独立思考,力所能及地帮助需要帮助的人,能有好奇心,勇于探索,勇于创新,以及较强的责任心都是我们非常看重的。
We expect that the students of SOIS have strong abilities in academic, social, and deal with problems independently. We hope that students can have strong teamwork skills and sharing spirit. They need to learn to respect rules, others, and different opinions. We encourage them to be honest and trustworthy and to be able to think independently. Students should do as much as they can to help people in need. We value students to be curious, be brave to explore, be creative, and be responsible.

1、请问学校目前开设哪些课程?是采用全英文授课吗?
What courses are currently offered by the school? Is it taught in English? Are there any compulsory and elective courses?
学校开设了多元化的课程。在完成义务教育阶段教学大纲要求的基础上,我们不但重点打造中文、数学、英语、科学、地理、历史、思想品德等学科,还开设了信息技术、体育、音乐、美术、戏剧、个人社会与健康等素养类课程。
我们的中文课程教学秉持“大语文”思想,整合义务教育阶段的语文、历史、地理教材,融入世界文学名著的精读精讲,同时辅以辩论、朗诵等多种教学形式,尽量丰富学生的学习体验,提高教学质量。
所有课程中,中文、数学、地理、历史、思想品德采用中文授课,其余课程为英文授课。
The school offers a variety of courses. On the basis of completing the requirements of the syllabus in the stage of compulsory education, we focus on building cultural and literary courses.
Our Chinese course integrates the intensive reading of world literary masterpieces, supplemented by various teaching forms such as debate and recitation, so as to enrich students' learning experience and improve the quality of teaching.
Chinese language, Chinese History and Geography, and Maths are taught in Chinese, the rest of course are taught in English.
2、请问以上这些课程分别采用哪些教材?
Which textbooks are used in the above courses?
就目前而言,绿洲学校初中部的语文课程采用人教版教材,数学课程采用北师大版教材,其他课程会根据学校教学大纲的要求选择适合学生学习的教材,各任课老师会根据教学大纲的要求安排课程内容,以争取达到最好的教学效果。
For the time being, SOIS’s Chinese courses use the People’s Education Edition textbooks, and the Math courses use the Beijing Normal University textbooks. The teaching materials for other courses will be selected by the teacher following the requirements of the syllabus to achieve the best teaching effect.
3、能否介绍一下贵校的教师团队?
Can you introduce the teaching team of SOIS?
我们的外籍老师背景是多元化的,均持外国专家签证进入中国,均持有正规的教师资格证,并且这些外教在自己所教授的科目领域都有着丰富的教学经验。
中籍教师目前主要教授语文和数学,他们或有海外留学经验,或是毕业于各大高校的优秀教师,他们不仅对教材非常熟悉,有着丰富的教学经验,且懂得如何引导学生对知识融会贯通,举一反三,学以致用。他们在授课过程中会以启发、引导学生主动思考为主。
Our foreign teachers have diverse backgrounds. They all come to China with foreign expert visas, hold teaching certificates, and have rich teaching experience in the academic areas they teach.
Most of our Chinese teachers teach Chinese and Math. All of them have rich teaching experience and they know how to guide students to learn better and more efficient.
