恢弘大气的学校剧场座无虚席，家长们在这里参加了精彩纷呈的宣讲会，这不仅是一次关于学校教学情况的分享交流，更是一次对国际教育理念深层了解与学习的机会。宣讲会首先由副校长依兰女士详细介绍了清华附中稻香湖校区“中西合璧育英才”的办学远景，“中国根基、国际品质、清华特色”的办学理念，中西融合的课程特点和多轨多样的招生体系。依校长还同大家分享了丰富多彩的学生社团、疫情期间学生驰援武汉的行动，清华附中国际部十周年校庆等活动，让家长感受到了在多元化的文化氛围中稻香湖校区的教育教学活动始终秉承厚重的清华精神。

Parents first gathered in the school auditorium to hear presentations introducing the school and our programs. Vice principal Ms. Yi Lan spoke in detail about the school’s vision to, "combine the best parts of Chinese and Western cultures for nurturing talent"; the school philosophy of, "being rooted in China, having an international character, and having Tsinghua qualities"; the characteristics of the different academic programs; and the different ways to be admitted to the school. Ms. Yi also shared some of the activities students and faculty have organized in the past, including various student clubs, student volunteer work to help Wuhan during the epidemic, the THIS 10th anniversary celebration, and so on, so that parents could get a sense of how a commitment to diversity and the Tsinghua spirit make up the soul of the school.

随后，由学术校长何道明先生就学校师资、教育理念、课程设置等家长关心的问题进行了深刻阐述。何校长表示，清华附中稻香湖校区的课程体系是建立在清华大学、清华附中和清华附中国际部的优良学术传统之上，与清华精神一脉相承的。学校在传承和发扬以往优秀经验的基础上，构建以学生需求为核心的创新性课程体系。何校长流利地道的双语讲述，令家长感到惊喜亲切的同时，更让大家感受到了清华附中稻香湖校区教学领导和教师都深谙中西文化，因而能够在教育教学中真正做到中西合璧、兼容并包。

After Ms. Yi, Mr. Donald Holder, the academic principal, gave an in-depth explanation of the faculty, educational philosophy, curriculum programs and other topics of parent concern. He indicated that the curriculum is designed to “respect the Legacy and Philosophy of what has come before us as we build Consistency with our past and work towards the Development of the Tsinghua Family.” Mr. Holder’s fluent and authentic bilingual and bi-cultural delivery pleasantly surprised the parents, and at the same time, was a great example of how he as a school leader embodied the integration of eastern and the western culture, making the parents confident about the school’s mission.

中学专题宣讲会中，副校长王实先生以轻快活跃的方式，给家长们带来了一场别开生面的升学指导讲解。王校长从如何帮助学生走入适合自己的理想高中切入，深入探讨了学校如何为每位学生的学习和未来发展汇集顶级资源。清华附中稻香湖校区致力于成为国际教育领域的标杆，同时作为师生、家校共生的教育社区平台，不仅给学生提供了拥有先进设施的校园，更会为学生整合资源，创造无限机会与可能。最后，王校长以“identity（自我认知）、 diversity（多元化）、 holistic（综合素养）”三个单词结尾与大家共勉，相信稻香湖校区会带领学生在多元化的氛围中，积极认知自我，寻求综合全面的发展，成为真正根植中国的国际化杰出人才。

In the secondary school session, the vice principal, Mr. Wang Shi, in a brisk and active way, gave parents his unique perspective on college counselling. Mr. Wang started from how to help students enter a university that is "suitable for oneself and pursued by oneself,” and discussed in depth how the school gathers top-level resources for each student's academic and future development. The school is committed to becoming a benchmark in the field of international education, and an educational community where teachers, students, and families can grow together. Therefore, the school will not only provide an excellent campus with advanced facilities, but also build a platform with rich resources and create unlimited opportunities for students. Finally, Mr. Wang ended with three keywords: “identity, diversity, and holistic”. He believes that THHS DX will help students actively develop themselves in a multi-faceted setting where the students know themselves, seek comprehensive development, and become outstanding international talents who are rooted in China.

清华附中稻香湖校区还为学生提供了三大特色发展项目，以充分挖掘学生在科技创新、艺术和音乐方面的天赋与潜力，兼顾学生课业学术严要求与专业领域高水准培养相结合。此次校园开放日宣讲会还专门邀请了音创未来酷而思项目的张丰艳教授以及国际艺术人才培养项目的杨松先生，为家长介绍相关项目。

THHS DX also provides students with three specialized programs in which they can fully reach their potential: a science and technology innovation program, a visual arts program, and a music program. The school will provide high-quality education resources and professional guidance for students in these programs. At the end of the main talks, experts in charge of the Music Creates the Future Program and the AIP Program gave parents a detailed explanation of the programs.

校园参观活动中，家长们在带队老师的引领下实地感受。驻足于典雅非凡的剧场礼堂、以国家体育馆标准铺设的操场跑道、高端宽敞的体育馆、温馨明亮的教室和整洁舒适的学生宿舍，家长们纷纷设想着孩子们进入稻香湖校区后多姿多彩的学习生活。参观途中，家长们边了解，边观察，不时拍照存留，仔细与带队老师交流咨询。

During the Campus Tour, parents were guided by faculty to get a feel of what school life on campus would be like. Starting from the state-of-the-art theater space, parents visited the running track and football pitch built to the highest national standards; the high quality, spacious gymnasiums; the bright classrooms, and the neat and comfortable student dormitories. Parents were able to get a mental image of their children enjoying a day at our school.  Throughout, parents were also busy taking many photos and asking the teachers lots of questions.

参观校园后，学校特地准备了咨询问答环节。学校领导以及招生办老师现场答疑，针对家长们关于招生报考、学校课程特色等诸多重点热点问题，一一耐心解答。

The School also prepared a Q&A session for parents. School leaders and staff from the Admissions Office were on hand to answer questions about admissions, the school curriculum, and other key issues.
